The rapper known as Meek Mill is being released from a Philadelphia jail after serving five months for violating parole in a 2009 drug case.
City prisons spokeswoman Shawn Hayes said Mill, aka Robert Williams, will be released Tuesday.
Philly Rapper Sentenced for Parole Violation
NBC10 confirmed the release would happen sometime Tuesday afternoon.
Mill has tangled with a probation officer and Judge Genese Brinkley over his tour-related travel and other issues.

Brinkley has ordered him to take etiquette classes and sent him to jail in July over an outburst at his parole office. She has now released him from the three-to-six month sentence.
Meek's lawyers insist he has built a successful rap career since his drug and gun case and has not been arrested again.
Meek Mill Denied Early Parole
The judge revoked parole just before Mill finished five years of probation. She has ordered the five-year clock to start again.
