My first day in school

My first day in University
The journey from Lagos to Iwo was filled with joy and happiness. It was a good feeling down in my mind that  I am now in the university. My arrival at school turned from heaven which I was already dreaming about the joy and euphoria of been a student  to hell due to the stress of registration. After the registration my final doom which crushed me down into an abysmal mood came by when I misplaced my wallet. I turned speechless and dumb founded by my carelessness not to take care of my wallet, now I have learnt a lesson which I will never  forget in my life. I am VEXED at myself. My east is turning to west while north is moving to south with the illusion of  running mad when I know I am not. What can I do? My ATM card is gone, my money is gone too. People might say "broke nigga".
I need help , serious help

I need money

I don't  want to starve to death.

Argentina Immortalizes Messi, Bans Parents From Naming Their Children ‘Messi’

Argentina Immortalizes Messi, Bans Parents From Naming Their Children ‘Messi’
The director of the Civil Register of the Santa Fe province, Gonzalo Carrillo, barred any possible deluge of “Messis” being born in the area. Messi is a surname, he insists, and may not be used as a first name.

The director insisted that such an idea is “against the law” as it may bring about confusion. He had little choice but to admit, however, that the registration of Messi as a first name in the province of Río Negro may be seen as a precedent in the legislation of matters concerning the civil register throughout the country.

A Messi, fan Héctor Varela persisted until the Río Negro Civil Register accepted “Messi” as his son’s first name only two weeks after the boy was born. The father requested special permission from the authorities, unaware that his son was to be Argentina’s first and that such a fuss was about to be kicked up.

“I am Messi’s father”, Varela proudly declared.

“Many people chose Lionel as a name for their sons after Messi, but this is more obvious”, said the player’s fan. Finally, his son has been registered as ‘Messi Daniel Varela’.

Fool; Man Arrested After Attempting To Rob GTBank With His Invisible Ring On (See Photo)

It was a very hilarious scene in GTBank ,the berger paint branch that left several customers stunned, after a young man entered into the bank like a normal customer, carrying no gun or a weapon of any and attempted to rob the bank.

Eye witnesses said to Naijaloaded that he came in without being given any attention as he did not look like a threat until he jumped on the counter quietly and started putting money-stacks into his ghana-must-go bag.

He got the attention of everyone as their eyes were fixed at him and filled with amazement, wondering what the young man was truly up to.

After several minutes of watching him act unnoticed,he started heading for the exit and that was when the whole charade ended,as he was stopped by already waiting armed security men.

Several attempts to escape went futile, as he was overpowered in all ways. He got questioned to know If he was he a yaba left patient or whose backing he had to carry-out such an operation, but to the surprise of everyone, he said “nah one phone number i see for bus o, e talk say if I call dem go do anything I want, I call and go their place and dem give me ring wey suppose make me dey invisible for bank robbery..”

It all then came clear to everyone around that he thought he was invisible during the bank robbery, that’s why he acted the way he did.

What do you think should be done to this Young Man?

Drop your comment.

Rapper Kendrick Lamar Accused Of Brutally Beating A Woman And Leaving Her Bloody In Vegas Room

A former female security guard who worked at The Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas released a video recently claiming that rapper Kendrick Lamar was investigated for allegedly brutally beating a woman and leaving her bloody in a room in the hotel. The guard claimed the battered woman called them for help and when they got to the room, found her in a terrible state. But the guard never said she saw Kendrick lay hands on the woman. This happened in May. What she said below…

“On Memorial Day Weekend . . . so I get dispatched up to one of the rooms to help some girl get down to the casino. She ends up being all bloody and things, so I had to call my supervisor, then I had to call my other supervisor, then I had to call my boss. And I was like, “We have a situation,” because half of her face was like blown out.”

Come to find out that she was with a certain rapper, who had assaulted her . . . and his first name is [Kendrick]. [Audience aks if she means Kendrick Lamar]. Yeah. . . He beat up some chick, [and] there was like blood everywhere.

There were cops there, and we didn’t find out it was Kendrick until later. . . She ended up pressing charges, I think.

Kendrick was in Vegas in May to perform at the Rehab Pool Party. But the incident never made news. Kendrick is yet to respond to the accusations.

WTF!!! Orezi And Lil Kesh Fight In The Club

A mild drama ensued on tuesday evening when two upcoming stars which have the hit dance tune ‘shoki’ to their names took to their fists in a ‘no love’ situation at Quinox lounge.

The superstar pairs of Orezi and Lil Kesh were detained by private security when the fight broke out.

Eyewitnesses say it all started when the dj played lil kesh’s Shoki following his entrance into the club, infuriating Orezi who was previously in the club.

Speaking to FNN, Orezi said “what the dj did was unthinkable, I mean I released the hit first and so it should be on a first come first serve basis, and the lil thwart or whatever he calls him self was making noise (in the club), so I had to stone his mouth with a pair of my J’s”.

Lil kesh in return stoned Orezi with a handkerchief filled with ice blocks much to the amusement of fellow clubbers.

Runs girl, Tola who was a witness said, me I no care who sabi dance am pass or sing am first, but na Lil kesh pay for my drink so I use him handkerchief.

With ice block massage him lips wey Orezi stone with him J’s, na so he carry am stone Orezi punk commot for the guy head, na so the fight start.

Quinox manager said ‘my drinks sold enh as people started trooping in to watch the fight before security could break the two lads up, I think shoki has a karate move because Lil Kesh used it on Orezi’.

DAVID ARQUETTE MO MONEY, MO GIRLS Buys Legendary Strip Club

David Arquette is stone cold pimping for real now ... adding Hollywood's famous Crazy Girls strip club to his portfolio with a $1.5 million purchase.

TMZ broke the story ... David's been in negotiations to buy the classic club for the last 3 weeks - with the former owners originally asking for $1.7 million.

However, David held firm to his number and eventually won out, taking over control of the building ... and everything in it -- couches, chairs, bars, and of course ... plenty of poles.

We're told David plans to completely remodel the club in order to create an upscale burlesque show with an old school Hollywood feel ... the kind of act that would attract big money spenders.

David's no stranger to the night life ... already owning a piece of two of Hollywood's hottest clubs, Hooray Henry's and Bootsy Bellows.

Some Very Silly Things Guys Should Stop Doing

Guys can be very annoying at times.
I just don't know why many of us indulge in these irritating behaviors

1. Staring at a lady's backside: 90% guys do this. They just can't help turning around whenever a female passes, just to check out her backside. Its very irritating and rude too. Guys pls stop it

2.Calling a girl and saying "I just want to hear your voice": To me this is just dumb! And that's why that girl can never call you. She assumes you don't have a life. Guys, even if you're jobless at d moment, pls find sth to do even if its free, a hobby or volunteer work just to fill the time. Than to waste your time wanting to hear a girl's voice.

3. Thanking a lady for accepting their friend request on Facebook: As if they have won gold. Its so annoying and smacks of both desperation and lack of self worth. At worst, you should welcome the person and say that you're looking forward to knowing more about her. Not writing silly stuffs like "Baby thanks for accepting me as your friend".

4. Asking for a girl's number just too early: Many guys feel very fulfilled getting a girl's digits. Guys, there's no big deal in it! You might even end up not calling them at the end of the day. Take your time and let the girl wonder why you aren't rushing to get her digits like most would do.

5.Always wanting to please ladies: I'm not saying its bad to be a gentleman, its just that some guys take it too far. They go against their own morals and ethics just to please a lady. Come on! That she's not all smiles doesn't mean she's unhappy or worried. Some ladies just use these tactics to make you do what you shouldn't do.

6. Giving out large sums of money for sex: For God's sake guys, you won't die if you don't have sex. Stop acting as if your whole life depends on sex. Some guys would abandon their parents and siblings and be spending large on a girl who hasn't added nothing in his life save for the sex. Guys pls learn!

7. Agreeing to whatever the ladies say in order to become a gentleman: We see this on NL here sometimes. Some guys have earned that reputation of always supporting, liking comments made by ladies not because its true, but because they're ladies.

5 Scientists Who Studied Ebola Killed By The Virus

Underlining the immense risks taken by those working in West Africa to understand and combat the worsening Ebola outbreak, five co-authors of an important new Ebola study were killed by the virus before their research was published.

The study, published Thursday in the journal Science, found that the virus has mutated during the outbreak — something that could hinder diagnosis and treatment of the disease.

The five deceased co-authors, who were from Sierra Leone’s Kenema Government Hospital Lassa fever facility, worked with the study’s lead researchers at Harvard University to examine the deadliest Ebola outbreak in history. In all, the research involved more than 50 co-authors.

It’s an extraordinary study, and it came with an extraordinary toll. Pardi Sabeti, whose Harvard lab oversaw the genetic sequencing at the center of the research, told The Post’s Brady Dennis that the the experience of working on the international study was “one of the most rewarding and devastating experiences of my life,” with the thrill of conducting the collaborative research tempered by the sadness of losing numerous colleagues who were working on the front lines.

The study demonstrates just how effective an international research effort can be in the middle of a global health crisis. Researchers sequenced the virus genomes from 78 patients in the current outbreak, starting with its early days in the spring.

Among other things, the international team of researchers managed to trace the outbreak in Sierra Leone to a single funeral in the country. Researchers discovered that a pregnant Kenema Government Hospital Ebola patient had, along with about a dozen other women who were also infected, attended the funeral of a traditional healer who was treating Ebola victims on the Sierra Leone-Guinea border.

On the same day the findings were published, Science wrote a separate piece about the five researchers who died while working on the study.

Mbalu Fonnie, an experienced nurse at the Kenema Government Hospital, was among the five victims. Her specialty? Managing advanced Lassa fever infections — a disease with symptoms similar to Ebola — in pregnant women. Fonnie was caring for one of her co-workers, who was pregnant and infected with Ebola, when she contracted the disease herself. According to study co-author Robert Garry, Fonnie was the “matron of nursing” at the Sierra Leone hospital.

Alex Moigboi, Fonnie’s fellow nurse, who contracted Ebola while treating the same pregnant colleague. He had more than 10 years of experience working with Lassa fever patients.

Alice Kovoma was also infected while helping Fonnie and Moigboi treat their colleague. Garry told Science that Kovoma was “a wonderful person … very dedicated and professional with a devotion to the patients and her teammates.” She was a nurse for six years in the Lassa fever ward.

Mohamed Fullah worked as a lab technician on the study. He taught at Eastern Polytechnic College in Sierra Leone, and also worked in the Lassa fever facility. His colleagues believe that Fullah contracted the disease from a family member — several relatives had died of the virus in the current outbreak, which has killed at least 1,552 people, according to the World Health Organization.

Sheik Umar Khan was the director of the Ministry of Health and Sanitation’s Lassa fever program and was directly involved in Sierra Leone’s national response to the Ebola outbreak. He was a well-respected expert on both Lassa fever and Ebola. At the time of his death, in late July, Khan was hailed as a national hero. He treated more than 100 patients in the outbreak before he contracted the disease himself.

In a June interview with Reuters, Khan spoke of the dangers health-care workers face while working with Ebola: “I am afraid for my life, I must say, because I cherish my life. Health workers are prone to the disease because we are the first port of call for somebody who is sickened by disease. Even with the full protective clothing you put on, you are at risk.

Khan was treated at a Doctors Without Borders facility after contracting the virus. His death prompted an international discussion after Doctors Without Borders was forced to defend its decision against giving Khan an experimental drug to treat the disease.

On the same day the study was published, the WHO warned that the current outbreak could infect more than 20,000 people before it’s over. On Friday, officials in Senegal announced that the country had its first confirmed case of Ebola.

Five countries — Sierra Leone, Liberia, Guinea, Nigeria and now Senegal — have confirmed Ebola infections within their borders. (Ebola cases have been reported in Congo, too, but health officials there have said it’s a different strain of the deadly virus, not connected to the outbreak in West Africa.)

There have been 3,069 Ebola infections recorded by the WHO, and more than half of those infected have died, according to the WHO.

Top Ten Funniest Nigerian Chat-up Lines by ksmiles:

Nigerians are very creative; they have the ability to create funny chat-up lines in a loving way. You will be surprised at how amusing they can get when they’re interested in someone and need to initiate a conversation. Some could be funny, creative, intriguing or downright annoying but at this point all they’re thinking about is how to create a common ground, approach a stranger without getting embarrassed or rejected. Here are the top ten Nigerian funniest chat-up lines that will make you laugh your heart out:

1. “You look familiar, have we met?”

This seems to be the most popular in Nigeria when it comes to chat-up lines. A guy walks up to you and is like “… Hey. .. You look familiar, have we met?”. ( And you’re staring blankly like …” No, I don’t think so” and he goes …”Oh common don’t tell me you can’t remember me. ..”. So in a bid to defend your memory, you oblige and chat or you really don’t care and tell the person off.

2. “Can I follow you home? ‘Cos my parents told me to always follow my dreams”

When you hear a line like this, you may be too weak to react cos you’re boiling within with laughter. All that runs through your mind could be “what the heck is he (or she as the case may be) thinking?”.

3. “Hey, you are very pretty, you look exactly like my mum”

This sounds awkward because the lady does not know how the person’s mom look. However, some women may feel honoured while some maybe like .. ” What? are you alright? You wish!”

4. “Ooooo Boi! I wish I met you first”

This line is pretty famous in the circles of those who meet someone they think they like when they’re already in a serious relationship. It’s a funny way to break the ice but it works. Sometimes, It has an uncanny feel to it that can soften the other person’s disposition towards you.

5. “You’re the only egg in my roll. Without you I’m just a buns”

Now talk about downright hilarious. Even the meanest or hardest Nigerian mind will break a smile on hearing this. The mere thought of the person trying to talk to you being a “buns” is so funny. Using this is sure to kick start your much needed chat but you’ve got to get creative to keep it going.

6. “I’m not a prophet but I can see you and I together”

When you hear such lines, the first thing that comes to mind will be “hmmmm, the brother’s getting all religious on me” and as funny as it may sound it, works for some people.

7. “I thought happiness starts with letter H, why does mine start with U?”

How creative and smooth, when you hear such lines you just smile because you get carried away by the mind behind those words. It’s funny but cute at the same time, words like this can break any ice cold heart and get a conversation going. Besides, give the brother some credit for the pun.

8. “Does it Hurt? (What?) Falling from heaven”.

I’ve heard men use this line a lot. Its just a sweet way to tell a lady that she is an angel. It’s kind of abstract because it starts with a question – Does it hurt? It’ll definitely trigger some curiosity in the mind of the lady because it’s awkward. And the later part – falling from heaven – creates the opposite reaction because they never saw it coming. It’s an old classic pick up line that still works.

9. “Hi I’m kind of lost. please can you help me find my way to …..?”

I can bet you this line has been in use for decades and till date it works. It makes you sound vulnerable and in need of help but the aim is to draw attention and start a conversation. This kind of pick of line works better in public places.

10. “Now I know why Solomon had 700 wives… He never met you!”

Talk about religious and funny, this is sure to earn you a smile from that ‘sister’ that’s got your nerves in a twist and your mind all tangled up. This type of lines that have a biblical feel to them are best tried on religious person with a sense of humour.

When it comes to chat-up or pick-up lines, you’ll hear a lot of things. However, in the mouth of the right person, a line that sounds so silly can be said in a way that will charm the other party and culminate in a lasting relationship – be it platonic or romantic. The thing is to adequately access the circumstances and environment under which you’re meeting as well as the person in question otherwise the only thing you maybe picking is a “dirty slap”.

What do you think? Have you got any funny chat-up lines you would like to share
